I guess I'll have to be the odd one out in my, (soon to arrive), 101st stuff. Have my list all picked out but have been told we're buying the other half a new car before I can put the orders in. Roll on next week

one of the reasons i think Matt is going for 82nd is because more people are showing the 101st impression...maybe because of Band of Brothers maybe not..

True, there does seem to be a lot of 101st about on forums etc, although I had noticed more people seemed to be doing the 82nd on here.

Braces will hold em up but I can almost get both of my legs in one trouser leg

wears your sense of adventure just think of the layers you could fit under those trews in winter months and look cool as beans whilst everyone else is freezing their giblets off

I guess atm they look like comedy esq pantaloons rather than how they should ?

Saw a pic of some 82nd troops near St. Mere Eglise, with part of their camoflaged parachute canopy cut up, and being used as a camoflaged helmet cover.

got a camo scarf on the way thats huge. same pattern as the parachute so was thinking the same thing as well as some for draping over me whilst laid up

Got my jump suit from Platoon in Bury, got it for the same price as soldier of missfortune, but the colours are better, and the stitching is much better.

well to quote the chap who runs the shop "I want some1 to create a really nasty virus, a virus that will wipe the internet off the face of the earth" << he's 1 of these chaps who I dont think has quite got his head around the Computer age.

Good set of people though, worth popping in if you can spare the time and the distance to north manchester, there are about 5-10 regulars who sit reminicing in the shop on a saturday, most of whom run the Bury re-enactment group, Heather knows more about them than I.

They have a shop, they dont take cards unfortunately, only cash, postal order or cheque, he said that upon receiving the cheque, you should receive ur goods in 4-5 working days.... not bad for a mail order place, and the guys know what theyre talking about if you have any questions.

Sorbothane insoles for my jackboots and a butter dish.... can anybody beat that for boring stuff??
